A fine and rare, manual wind, 18ct yellow gold pocket watch with enamel and gold dial. Case back cover cast and chased with St. George and the dragon and the motto «S. Georgivs Eqvitvm Patronvs» and the interior with a scene of Christ in ship on a rough sea and the motto «Intempestate. Secvritas»..The outer surface of the lid captioned "S. Georgius Equitatum Patronus" depicting the mounted knight, the inner surface captioned "In Tempestate Securitas" depicting a ship tossed on a stortmy sea.
