- Launched in 1950, reference 2481 was fitted with a wide range of dials, ranging from polychrome enamel landscapes, to portraits of royal family members. This Calatrava features an oversized case, giving the watch a lot of presence on the wrist - a huge step away from the reserved and classic proportions of the traditionally smaller Calatrava case. The reference is equipped with the famous calibre 27SC, which was, at the time Patek Philippe's only sweep centre calibre available on the market. This oversized Calatrava features yellow gold dauphine hands, in a 18ct gold case, coming in at a size of 36mm.
