Essay: Vacheron & Constantin first introduced the reference 4075 in 1937 in extremely limited quantities. This exceptional manual wound example is a 18K yellow gold chronograph wristwatch with flexible lugs and a gold dial signed Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve. The chronograph houses a calibre 13'''295 and was manufactured in 1938. The dial features roman numerals with baton hands, an outer five minutes and tachymetre scales, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 45 minutes register, in a circular case with a snap on back, hooded flexible lugs, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band.
