Introduced in 1944, Patek Philippe’s reference 1593 known as the 'Hour Glass' by collectors due to its shape and represents one of Patek Philippe’s best rectangular designs ever made. Production ended in 1967 and it is estimated that fewer than 1000 examples were made, in platinum and rose gold with the majority of which were in 18ct yellow gold
