Made famous for its reliability, the OMEGA Seamaster has worldwide acclaim stemming back to its origins where it serviced armed forces in Britain.
Naturally, the military were looking for wristwatches that were robust and could handle exacting conditions, all while being discreet and easy to read. Its success with servicemen prompted the company to produce a line for the general public in 1947.
A wristwatch with a defined, solid structure and functional appearance – all while still being very much a timepiece to be worn by a gentleman has granted the Seamaster and its subsequent sub-lines enduring worldwide popularity.
The Seamaster chronograph range was composed of bold designs with a youthful, carefree edge along with pieces that were more elegant to reflect the Seamaster’s heritage as a wristwatch for a gentleman.
