Notes

Whereas today where a vast majority of brands are defined by models names, in the past companies would make timepieces not given a name such as Seamaster or Constellation that were considered simply ‘dress timepieces’.
These wristwatches came in a wide variety of styles and shapes, defined by the fashions of the period and were produced from the 1900’s till the 1960’s.

The Petrograd was a particular style of tonneau case dress watch created for the Russian market. It became a sought after style when a wristwatch similar to this was commissioned for Tsar Nicolas II of Russia.
