Constellation

Launched in 1952, the Constellation line was Omega’s “deluxe” collection of watches.

The line has an observatory symbol, to reflect that all watches in this collection are Observatory-certified chronometers.

The dials were of various types, most famously the so-called “Pie Pan” (as shown above), due to the fact that is looks like an inverted pie-pan.

The official name for this dial is “douze pans” or twelve facets. Cases are all water resistant, either snap or screw back.
