Cartier “Mystery” Watch
Fine and rare limited edition 18 carat white gold Cartier “Mystery” dress pocket watch
with original Cartier white gold chain.
Signed Cartier, No.1, made circa 1970. Cartier perfected the art of illusion with the introduction of the Mystery clock “Model A” in 1913. The hands are set into two rotating toothed crystal discs that are propelled by gears giving the illusion that the hands are “floating” within the dial.
